NILES A new pickleball club in Niles is hosting a day-long ceremony to celebrate its grand opening.

The Dink Yard, located at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road in Niles, will be hosting community members from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 4.

The indoor facility contains six courts and flexible open play opportunities, with other events, clinics and leagues being planned for the future.

Featured as part of the grand opening celebration is a pickleball paddle raffle, $5 open play sessions throughout the day, special activities, prizes and other treats for the community.

The pickleball raffle includes the chance to win a paddle valued at $200. Tickets are $1 each, or $5 for six. The winner of the raffle will be drawn at 5 p.m.

"The Dink Yard is proudly owned and operated by a local family with deep roots in the community. Our mission is simple: bring year-round pickleball to the Valley in a space that's just as much about connection as it is competition," said Skylar and Lindsay Coulter, owners of The Dink Yard.

Owners Lindsay and Skylar continued," Whether you've been playing for years or you've never held a paddle, this is your home court."
