WARREN - 717 Credit Union kicked off a new tradition Saturday with its inaugural Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival.

According to the press release, thousands of attendees flocked to the Warren Community Ampitheater to partake in good food, drink and soulful Blues tunes.

However, the event was not just a celebration; it also served as a fundraiser for multiple local charities.

Proceeds from the event were turned into $7,500 in donations, which were split into $2,500 for each of three organizations:

  • United Way of Trumbull County
  • Game Changers Inc. 
  • Greater Warren-Youngstown Urban League

717 Credit Union says that it is "proud to give back, lift up our neighbors and celebrate the vibrant spirit of Warren and our surrounding communities."
