UNION TWP, Pa. - A tanker truck rolled over and a vehicle sustained heavy damage following a crash on Route 422 in Union Township, Pennsylvania.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, when responders were called to the area of Route 422 and Old Youngstown Road in Union Township, Pennsylvania, for reports of a crash.

According to Union Township Police Department, a woman driving a Lincoln Navigator SUV pulled into the path of a Dalton Sanitation truck carrying a load of sewage.

The impact caused the tanker truck to roll over. 

A photo from the scene shows the SUV with heavy damage.

 Neither occupants of the sanitation truck or the SUV suffered major injuries.

It is unknown if they were taken to the hospital.

No sewage was reported to have escaped the overturned tanker truck, and a different tanker was called to the scene to retrieve the load.

Old Youngstown Road was closed while responders worked, and was reopened once roads were cleared.
