WARREN A Warren man charged in connection with a homicide in the city is expected to go on trial later this month.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 46-year-old David Hollie is set to go on trial beginning Monday, October 20.

Hollie is charged with murder with a firearm and repeat violent offender specifications, as well as having weapons under disability with a firearm specification, tampering with evidence, failure to comply, and receiving stolen property.

The charges stem from the shooting death of 34-year-old Choice Washington, who was shot on the 300 block of Scott Street in Warren in August of 2025. Washington died days later in the hospital.
