SHARON - This Sunday, all Valley residents are welcome to join JCL Development on a behind-the-scenes tour of a number of renovated buildings and businesses as part of their ongoing effort, in collaboration with the city, to revitalize downtown Sharon.

The tour is set to begin at noon at Allie's Sweet Tooth, 47 E. State Street, where the leaders of JCl Development will showcase an overview of their current development plans. Then, attendees will be separated into groups and begin touring 5 different redeveloped properties. These include:

  • 98 East Co-Working Space (Formerly the Cultural Center & Evolve Gym)
  • Café Lulu & Lulu's Social Kitchen + Bar
  • Jolley River Apartments (Formerly Jolley Industrial
  • Evolve Gym's new location (Formerly Shenango Valley Transportation Co.)
  • The Flats Sports and Rec Center (Formerly Carine & Co.)

While on the tour, guests can learn about the city's history, courtesy of the Sharon Historical Society.

"Our hope is that this tour will give visitors a fresh perspective about Sharon - to see past what was and look to the future. We also encourage them to support the businesses here and to get involved," says Jen Krezeczowski, co-leader of JCL Development.

Interested guests are asked to register online before their arrival.
