NEW CASTLE, Pa. - A multi-agency drug operation resulted in two arrests and the seizure of drugs and cash in Lawrence County on Wednesday. The collaborative investigation targeted mid-level drug trafficking with ties to Cleveland, Ohio.

Led by the Lawrence County District Attorney’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, investigators executed three search warrants on residences and served two arrest warrants.

Jerell Huddleston Sr., of New Castle, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after authorities seized more than a kilogram of suspected cocaine. Christian Rozier, also of New Castle, was arrested with suspected crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, and psychedelic mushrooms.

Authorities are seeking two additional fugitives, Corey Lee and Tavin Wise. Law enforcement searched their last known addresses but couldn’t locate them.

In addition to the drug seizures, the operation yielded $8,414, digital scales, and drug packaging materials.

The HIDTA Drug Task Force included the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, the FBI North Country Task Force, the New Castle City, Ellwood City, and Shenango Township Police Departments, and the DEA Task Force Group 66.

Tactical teams, including the Pennsylvania State Police CIRT and the Lawrence County CIRT, assisted in the execution of the raids. The search of a fifth residence was unsuccessful.
