HUBBARD One person has been taken to the hospital after a car snapped a utility pole in half in Hubbard Friday afternoon.

Hubbard Police Chief Robert Thompson tells 21 News the crash happened at the corner of Elmwood Drive and and Moore Street. 

Chief Thompson says one person was taken to the hospital, but Thompson did not know of this person's condition. Another person in the car was not injured.

The road is currently blocked off at the intersection of Elmwood Drive and Moore Street as utility crews work to fix the pole. Drivers are asked to avoid the area until work is completed.
