YOUNGSTOWN A stretch of Poland Avenue in Youngstown will be closed beginning next week.

Poland Avenue will be closed between Powersdale Avenue and Union Street at the Youngstown and Southern Railroad Crossing from Monday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 29 as railroad crews rebuild the at-grade crossing.

Local traffic will be maintained.

All other traffic will be rerouted primarily to I-680 via Cooper Street and Homewood Avenue. Trucks will be permitted along the detour route on a temporary basis.
