Mercy Health cuts ribbon on occuptional health facility in Warren

WARREN A new occupational health facility opened its doors to the community in Warren on Monday.
Members of the new Mercy Health Occupational Health Services location held a ribbon cutting celebration at 4 p.m.
The location can be found at 5000 East Market Street, Suite 18 in Warren, and is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“With the right care at the right place and time, your workforce can feel and perform their best,” said Debbie McKee of Mercy Health.
McKee continued, “When employees get sick or hurt, you can trust us to help them return to work safely and quickly.”
The new clinic offers several services, including:
- Tailored services for employee needs
- Assistance with workers' compensation claims
- Quick, same-day treatment for signifcant injuries
- Referrals to specialists to help reduce wait times
- Preventative services to reduce future injuries and illnesses
- Physical exams and dianogstic testing
- Drug and alcohol screenings
- Health screenings and immunizations, including flu, hapatitis B, tetanus and Tdap
- CPR and AED workplace safety training
- DOT physicals and wellness programs
"We're experts in workers' comp, so their claims start off on a good foot, on the right foot, not that ER's can't do that, but they do so many other things. Our providers are [going to] be able to start it off with the correct diagnosis, we're [going to] be able to send that paperwork for follow up," said Stephanie Razo, RN Practice Manager.
