WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - A section of Salt Springs Road had been closed to traffic following a motor vehicle accident that resulted in downed power lines, the Weathersfield Fire Department reported after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The closure affected Salt Springs Road between Ohltown McDonald Road and Niles Carver Road.

As of 6:27 p.m. on Wednesday, the road has been reopened.

Emergency personnel were on the scene of the accident. The fire department advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

A utility company has been dispatched to address the power lines.
