WARREN A Warren man who pled guilty to child pornography charges in July will not be spending any time behind bars.

An employee with Judge Sean O'Brien's court tells 21 News that 21-year-old Virgol Ball was sentenced to three years of probation and six months of electronic house monitoring on charges of importuning, disseminating obscene matter harmful to juveniles and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Ball was also ordered not to have any contact with the victim or any other minor females, and is only allowed to access the internet through court-approved devices.

He must also register as a tier 2 sex offender and must obtain a mental health evaluation.

Ball's charges stem from sexual contact he was having with a female who was 13 years old when Warren police's investigation began in September 2023. Police said the two exchanged pornographic images on their electronic devices.
