Some dispensaries in the Mahoning Valley are being impacted by a recall affecting certain cannabis-infused edible gummy products.

According to a news release, the Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) is issuing the recall for certain products manufactured by Klutch Processing, LLC.

A dispensary alerted the DCC that the affected product, an edible gummy, is not marked with a universal "THC" symbol on each serving.

The DCC indicates that every product must have the "THC" symbol on every serving, meaning that the affected product is not in compliance.

Affected products include Kiva Lost Farms Cannabis-Infused Pectin Gummies in the following varieties:

  • Island Punch Made With 043 Strain
  • Thorny Berry Made With Violet Fog Strain
  • Watermelon Made With Ice Cream Cake Strain

The recall affects products with a purchase date of January 14, 2025, to October 22, 2025.

Several product identifiers and batch codes have been provided in the recall notice, including:

  • M00001018004: Edb Oral Admin-10.00-10-Gummy-Island Punch x O43-LF with a batch code of 1A40703000023F2000001409. This product was packaged on January 14 of 2025.
  • M00001056202: Edb Oral Admin-10.00-10-Gummy-Thorny Berry x VF-LF with a batch code of 1A40703000023F2000001665. This product was packaged on March 17 of 2025.
  • M00001018103: Edb Oral Admin-10.00-10-Gummy-Watermelon x ICC-LF with a batch code of 1A40703000023F2000001676. This product was packaged on March 24 of 2025.
  • M00001056202: Edb Oral Admin-10.00-10-Gummy-Thorny Berry x VF-LF with a batch code of 1A40703000023F2000037759. This product was packaged on August 26 of 2025.

Affected products have been sold at several Valley locations, including one in Boardman, one in Warren and one in Girard.

Leaf Relief, located at 4323 Market Street in Boardman, gLeaf, located at 2932 Youngstown Road SE in Warren and Curaleaf, located at 801 North State Street in Girard, are all among the list of dispensaries where affected products were sold.

According to the release, if a child or other individual accessed the product without understanding that it contained THC, it could result in adverse health effects.

No adverse events have been reported in connection with this recall.

If you experience an adverse health effect after consuming the affected gummies, it is encouraged that you contact your health provider immediately and report the event to the DCC at 1-833-464-6627.

Those who are in possession of a recalled product that does not contain a visible "THC" symbol can return the product to the dispensary of purchase for a refund and proper disposal.
