Boardman students to study at Lake Erie lab under $4,800 EPA grant
25 to 30 high school students will be funded to attend OSU's Stone Lab on Lake Erie.

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - Boardman High School is being awarded $4,800 in Ohio EPA Environmental Education Grants.
The funding will offer 25 to 30 underserved high school students in Boardman the opportunity to learn hands-on at Ohio State University's Stone Lab on Lake Erie—part of the "Great Lakes, Great Futures: Inspiring the Next Generation of Environmental Stewards" program.
Stone Lab is home to the oldest freshwater biological field station in the United States.
The Ohio EPA Office of Environmental Education awarded a total of $32,400 in grant funding to eight different organizations across the state.
