Pulled pork sandwiches recalled due to possible presence of plastic

A brand of sandwich is being recalled due to the possible presence of plastic in the product.
According to the recall alert from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the alert was published on October 27, 2025.
The recall affects Deli Express sandwiches, manufactured by the E. A. Sween Company.
Deli Express BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches are being recalled due to the possible presence of foreign particles - in this case, plastic - in the product.
The possible presence of plastic poses a choking hazard if swallowed.
As of the publishing of the alert, no injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
The Universal Product Code listed for the sandwiches is 0-41433-13087-2.

Affected products could have been purchased across the United States, Hawaii and Guam through convenience and grocery stores, along with mass retail outlets between January 16 and October 23 of 2025.
Consumers who have purchased the product are urged not to consume it and may return it to the store of purchase for a refund.
Retailers have also been instructed to remove the affected products from store shelves and inventory.
If the recalled product has already been consumed, buyers are encouraged to call E. A. Sween Company at 1-800-328-8184, option two, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
