YOUNGSTOWN A new business will soon be occupying the former Rite Aid building in the Cornserburg neighborhood in Youngstown.

Youngstown Code Enforcement Superintendent Mike Durkin tells 21 News that Sheetz will soon open its doors in the former Rite Aid building on Canfield Road in Youngstown.

Durkin says the city is currently working with Sheetz through the zoning process.

Sheetz is a gas station and convenience store chain that also specializes in fresh, made-to-order food. Sheetz has several locations throughout the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys.

There is currently no time frame for when the new location is expected to open.
