Manufacturing plants in Youngstown, North Lima looking to hire workers
YOUNGSTOWN A manufacturing company with plants in Youngstown and North Lima is hosting open houses, seeking to show its equipment and seek potential workers.
Brilex Industries, Inc. hosted the community in Youngstown on Wednesday at its facility located at 1201 Crescent Street. The open house lasted from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to sharing their services and equipment, the corporation is looking to hire workers.
"We have a couple openings that would be entry level, so little to no experience. And then, we have that we're looking for a highly skilled individual," said Jason Jones, the plant manager at the Youngstown facility.
According to a news release outlining the open house, Brilex Industries, Inc. is seeking workers to fill the following positions:
- Fitters
- Welders
- Machinists
- Assemblers
- General Laborers
- Tool Room Attendant
- Quality Technician
- Shipping Coordinator
If you missed the open house in Youngstown, there is one more remaining on Thursday, October 30, at 11950 South Avenue in North Lima from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the release, Brilex Industries is a full-service build-to-print manufacturer that specializes in fabrication, machining and assembly.
The public is invited to either of the open houses. However, those who are interested in possibly joining the facility as an employee is encouraged to register online at the Brilex Industries, Inc. website.
