A national meal delivery service that brings meals to home-bound seniors and others in need is looking for volunteer drivers in Mahoning County.

Meals on Wheels of Mahoning County, Inc., located at 1840 Market Street, stated that many of their current volunteer drivers are elderly and do not feel safe driving in winter weather conditions, according to a social media post.

Also in the post, the organization expects to lose more drivers in the winter months. 

Meals on Wheels of Mahoning County, Inc. is looking for part-time drivers and stated that anyone volunteering will not be needed to work on weekends or holidays. Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact the Meals on Wheels office at 330-744-3583 for more information.
