AUSTINTOWN The Holiday Artisan Market and Craft Show came to a close on Sunday at Austintown Township Park after a weekend of food trucks, crafts and vendors with festive items for sale.

"When we started four years ago, we just thought we would have a little craft show in the pavilion, and it's just grown year after year. So now we're always full inside, and the outdoor (portion of the event) keeps growing as well," Stacey Willis, Austintown Township Park event coordinator, said.

This year's market had a 50/50 raffle with a portion of the proceeds going to the Austintown Fraternal Order of Police, who plan to use the funds to help children in the community around Christmas time.

The vendors in attendance brought in a variety of items for sale, including homemade barbecue sauces, baked goods, and Christmas and holiday-themed gifts and decorations.

"The vendors love it, they keep coming back. We've got a lot of vendors that come back year after year, and this year we have a lot of new vendors. The community just seems to embrace it, and that's why I keep doing it," Willis said.

The event was held as part of the Austintown Township Park Artisan Pop Up Markets.
