Canfield PR firm marks 20th year with food distribution center donation

CANFIELD A public relations and marketing firm based in Canfield marked its 20th year in business by donating $20,000 to the Big Reach Center of Hope, a food distribution center operated by Greenford Christian Church.
Representatives from Pecchia Communications presented a check to Big Reach Director Val Waselich.
"This 20-year milestone brings great pride," said Dan Pecchia, founder and president of Pecchia Communications. "It brings an even greater sense of gratitude for the many individuals who helped us get off the ground, sustained us through tough years, and powered us to success beyond our dreams.”
Pecchia opened the company in November 2005 after a job loss. His initial plan was to secure a few projects while seeking other employment. He said the business grew before a suitable job became available.
The firm now has a team of six professionals and has developed public relations and marketing strategies for more than 70 companies.
Its client list has included Timken, Whirlpool, General Electric, American Greetings, Wendy's, Wrangler, Corning, the Cafaro Company, and others.
The Big Reach Center of Hope is a donation-based ministry serving individuals and families in the Mahoning Valley and surrounding communities.
As a ministry of Greenford Christian Church, the organization distributes food and clothing, connects people to community resources, and offers educational programming. Its mission is to help those in crisis pursue a self-supporting lifestyle and personal relationship, addressing both material and spiritual needs.
