The Vienna Community Action Committee, a local non-profit group, donates clothes to locals through the 1805 Closet. The clothes are available on the first Monday of every month from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Vienna Presbyterian Chruch.

The clothes drive has apparel for men, women, children, and infants. All clothes are available to the public.

"There's over a thousand articles of clothing up there," said VCAC Director Stephanie Garito.

The organization has a partnership with Walmart in Liberty, which donates clothing and food to the organization's projects.

"We enjoy coming out to Vienna and volunteering and making it a little easier for Vienna to support their community," said Liberty Walmart store manager Robyn Mediate.

Garito founded the organization in 2024 as a means to listen to the community and address their needs.

Vienna township trustee Michael Haddle says the VCAC helps the community in ways the local government cannot.

"You need a community group and people that are willing to step outside, donate their time and money," he said.

The VCAC's next project is "Vienna Christmas" on Dec. 14, a feast for locals who may not have food for the holiday season. The organization claims a Vienna resident donated $1300 to the initiative.
