BOARDMAN A cookie shop in Boardman is transitioning to new management.

According to a Facebook post from the One Hot Cookie account, the Boardman location will be transitioning to new management during the first week of December.

Heather Huff, a Boardman resident, will handle the operations of the One Hot Cookie location in Boardman from that point forward.

"I'm excited for this new journey and plan to continue the family-friendly atmosphere that our customers love and to remain actively involved in the Mahoning and Shenango Valley communities," said Huff within the post on Facebook.

Huff states within the post that one of her goals is to expand the mobile business.

Current Owner and Founder Bergen Giordani is quoted in the post, stating," I am thrilled to see Heather continue the One Hot Cookie legacy in the community and am confident that the transition will be seamless."

Giordani and her daughter, Morgen Chretien, want to focus on the growth of Gorant Chocolates, which is co-owned by Giordani and Dr. Nino Rubino, according to the post.

One Hot Cookie can be found at 1315 Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman.
