PLYMC branch closing early on Saturday due to power outage
According to a notification from Strategic Communications Officer Michael Stepp of the PLYMC, the reason for the early closure is due to a power outage.

STRUTHERS A branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has closed early on Saturday.
According to a notification from Strategic Communications Officer Michael Stepp of the PLYMC, the reason for the early closure is due to a power outage.
The notification specifies that the Struthers Branch, located at 95 Poland Avenue in Struthers, is affected by the outage and would close at 2:30 p.m.
According to the First Energy website, the Struthers community was experiencing a total of 1,109 power interruptions around 2:30 p.m.
At this point, it is unknown what caused the outages across Struthers.
Power was restored around 5 p.m. Saturday.
