For the second time in three years the Youngstown State football team is in the FCS playoffs.

The Penguins host Yale Saturday at 12 noon. It's the first ever game against an Ivy League school.

Youngstown State finished 8-4 and won their final three games of the year, including beating Northern Iowa 35-32 for the first time since 1999.

Current Penguin Dathan Hickey played in 29 games at Yale before transferring to YSU last summer.

"It's a full circle moment and cool to play against guys I played with," said Hickey adding the Penguins have to prepare just like it was any other game."

North Dakota State was the overall number one seed followed by (2) Montana State, (3) Montana & (4) Tarleton State.

Other teams from the conference in the post season, Illinois State, North Dakota, South Dakota State, South Dakota.

If the Penguins win they'll play at Montana State the following week.
