Niles mother pleads guilty to involvement in child's overdose

NILES A Niles mother has pled guilty to her involvement in the overdose of her child.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 32-year-old Abbigail McGhee pled guilty to one third-degree felony count of endangering children on Monday, November 24.
The charge stems from an incident in May of 2025, when McGhee's two-year-old child had ingested a small portion of her methadone.
The child was taken to the hospital and tested positive for NARCAN and fentanyl. The child has since recovered.
McGhee will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation. She could face up to three years in prison.
