COLUMBUS, Ohio - One of college football's biggest games of the year will take place Saturday, November 29 and Ohio and Michigan leaders are placing a friendly wager on the game.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will face off against the Michigan Wolverines Saturday at noon in what is referred to by fans as "The Game" and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel are placing wagers on the game with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist.

Governors DeWine and Whitmer both placed chips down for their wagers. Potato chips, that is.

Governor DeWine wagered Conn's Potato Chips from Zanesville, Grippo's from Cincinnati, Jones' Potato Chips from Mansfield and Mikesell's from Dayton. DeWine also threw in some Marsha's Homemade Buckeyes into the wager.

Meanwhile, Governor Whitmer wagered Better Made chips from Detroit, Great Lakes Potato Chips from Traverse City and Downey's Potato Chips from Waterford.

Lieutenant Governors Tressel and Gilchrist placed a wager of their own.

In honor of his nickname, "The Vest," during his time as a coach at The Ohio State University, Tressel wagered an Ohio State sweater vest. Meanwhile, Gilchrist wagered a University of Michigan sweater vest.

The loser must post a picture of themselves wearing the sweater vest on social media.
