YOUNGSTOWN - The Butler Institute of American Art's Board of Trustees has appointed Larry Jones as the museum's interim director.

In his role, Jones will work closely with the Board of Trustees to prioritize and accelerate the search for a new director and oversee the museum's day-to-day operations.

Dr. Lou Zona will continue to serve the museum as Director Emeritus to support a smooth transition for Jones and offering guidance as the Board of Trustees' Search Committee searches for the museum's next permanent leader.
