Boardman, OH --  Boardman High School is proud to announce that senior volleyball standout Mazie Kauffman has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Muskingum University, where she will compete as an outside hitter/defensive specialist.

Mazie has been a cornerstone of the Boardman Volleyball program, known for her competitiveness, versatility, and leadership on and off the court. Throughout her career as a Spartan, she recorded an impressive 373 kills, 476 digs, 29 blocks and 65 aces.  Her exceptional senior season earned her both AAC First Team and District 1 First Team honors, highlighting her as one of the region’s top athletes.

“Mazie’s work ethic and commitment to the game have made her an incredible leader for our program,” said the Boardman coaching staff. “We are thrilled to see her take the next step in her volleyball journey at Muskingum.”

Beyond her contributions in athletics, Mazie is deeply involved in the Boardman community and student life. She is a member of Student Government, Student Council, National Honor Society, Italian National Honor Society (Historian), Italian Club (Historian), Big Spartan Little Spartan, LINK Crew and Little Steamers. Mazie’s dedication, character, and involvement both on and off the court have made her an exceptional representative of Boardman High School.
