Struthers to host Christmas festival Friday night

STRUTHERS - As the City of Youngstown gears up to host its annual Light Up Night, the City of Struthers will be having a Christmas party of its own to get residents into the Christmas spirit.
The City of Struthers will be hosting its 2025 Christmas Festival on Friday, December 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The festivities will kick off with a parade at 6 p.m., stepping off at Pizza Joe's on 5th Street and end at the Struthers Fire Station on Elm Street. The parade will immediately be followed by the city's Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
From there, guests can make their way into the fire station for donuts, hot chocolate, face painting, reindeer food, photos with Santa, ornament and bracelet making, winter hats, letters to Santa, cotton candy and more happening until 9 p.m.
Music will be provided by DJ Danyi and Robert Noble.
The event is free and open to all the public.
Due to the parade, a parking ban will be in effect in the area of Walnut Street and Elm Court, as well as along the parade route from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
