LEETONIA, Ohio - The Leetonia Exempted Village School District held its 1st annual Christmas toy drive.

The drive turned out successful, with 4th and 5th grade Student Council members collecting more than 250 gifts for local children. The students challenged classrooms to a friendly competition for the community.

Project spearheads Mrs. Klacik and Mrs. Rodik personally delivered the toys to the Big Reach Center For Hope on Tuesday, December 9.

Students in Mrs. Klacik's 4th grade classroom won an ice cream party for their efforts.
