BEREA, Ohio - Drivers traveling on the Ohio Turnpike will need to pay a bit more starting next month.

Effective January 1, 2026, the Ohio Turnpike's toll rates will increase by 2.7%. 

Rates for E-ZPass customers with passenger vehicles will increase to 7.3 cents per mile, and non-E-ZPass users with passenger vehicles will increase to 10.6 cents per mile in 2026.

Rates for E-ZPass customers with commercial vehicles will increase to 22.6 cents per mile, and non-E-ZPass users with commercial vehicles will increase to 27.6 cents per mile in 2026.

The full trip toll fare traveling westbound across the entire turnpike from Pennsylvania to Indiana will cost passenger vehicles with E-ZPass $19 and cost passenger vehicles without E-ZPass $27.75.

Meanwhile, commercial vehicles with E-ZPass will pay $58.25 and commercial vehicles without E-ZPass will pay $74 for the full westbound trip.

For the full eastbound trip from Indiana to Pennsylvania, drivers in passenger vehicles with E-ZPass will pay $16 and passenger vehciles without E-ZPass will pay $23.50.

Commercial vehicles with E-ZPass will pay $49.75 and commercial vehicles without E-ZPass will pay $62.75 for the full eastbound trip.

All customers traveling westbound through the Eastgate Toll Plaza near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border will pay a round-trip, flat-rate toll. All customers traveling eastbound through the gate do not pay a toll.
