Canfield man indicted on pandering charges involving minors

YOUNGSTOWN - A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a Canfield man on Thursday on charges related to illegal sexually oriented material involving minors.
Robert Zimmerman faces 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, which are fourth-degree felonies. The grand jury also indicted Zimmerman on one count of possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony.
The indictment follows an investigation that led to Zimmerman's arrest earlier this year. Authorities executed a search warrant at his home on North Palmyra Road on July 30. The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force initiated the search after receiving a tip from the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force regarding alleged child sexual abuse material.
Court records indicate that agents discovered images and videos on electronic devices seized during the search.
Zimmerman was previously released on a $50,000 bond. Attorney Ryan Ingram is listed as the legal counsel representing Zimmerman.
