Police: Intruder in ski mask points gun at tenant in YSU apartment

YOUNGSTOWN - A police report from Youngstown State University Police has revealed more details on an incident involving an armed intruder at a university apartment building.
According to the report, police were called to the University Edge apartment building just before 7 a.m. Sunday for a report of an armed intruder.
When police got there, officers spoke to the tenant of an apartment who said he was asleep with his girlfriend and woke up to find a man in a ski mask pointing a gun at him.
The tenant told police he rolled over on his girlfriend to cover her, but the intruder immediately left.
The tenant said the intruder was wearing a ski mask and a dark, puffy jacket and that he could tell by the intruder's body movements that he was a male.
The tenant and his girlfriend both told police that they didn't have any enemies and that they do not associate with anyone who would do something like that.
No suspect has been identified at this time.
