YOUNGSTOWN - The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC) and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Mahoning County have teamed up to host a food drive.

Guests can drop off any non-perishable food items at any PLYMC branch. From there, PLYMC will donate all collected food items to the St. Vincent de Paul Society's dining hall, food pantry and other community outreach programs that provide food assistance.

You can drop off any non-perishable food items at any PLYMC branch during regular business hours or the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Via Mount Carmel in Youngstown during its normal distribution hours.

Suggested items include crackers, peanut butter, jelly and pork and beans.

These donations will be dropped off at the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry on Thursday, December 18. A spokesperson for PLYMC told 21 News the library will continue accepting donations throughout the rest of Decemeber.
