Leavittsburg woman killed in Interstate 80 crash in Jackson Township
A Leavittsburg woman died Monday night after her car, already disabled from an earlier collision with a semi-truck, was struck by another vehicle

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Mahoning County, Ohio - The crash occurred just after 10:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near the Ohio Turnpike interchange.
Michelle Ritenour, 39, was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix that had been involved in a crash with a semi-truck. The Pontiac became disabled and was sitting in the left westbound lane when it was hit by a 2003 Mercedes sedan driven by 37-year-old Cara Duncan of Boardman.
Ambulance crews took Ritenour to a Youngstown Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Duncan, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
The westbound lanes of I-80 were temporarily closed as the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
