Hermitage police offer reward in decade-old unsolved homicide

HERMITAGE, Pa. - HERMITAGE - The Hermitage Police Department announced a cash reward for information regarding the 2015 shooting death of Ralph Kenneth Lloyd.
The appeal coincides with the 10th anniversary of the unsolved homicide.
Lloyd, 56, was shot at 1:08 a.m. on Dec. 1, 2015, while walking in the 800 block of North Water Avenue. He lived in the Patagonia neighborhood where the shooting occurred.
A witness in the area reported hearing an argument followed by gunshots. Lloyd had walked from Sharon shortly before the incident. He suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and was flown to a hospital, where he died.
At the time of his death, Lloyd worked at a McDonald’s in Sharon and was a former truck driver in South Carolina.
Deputy Chief Joel Ristvey urged the public to share any knowledge of the incident or the suspect to bring closure to Lloyd's family. The department emphasized that even details that appear insignificant could help solve the case.
