A Trumbull County woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to a fourth-degree grand theft charge on Tuesday for stealing items worth thousands of dollars worth of items from her workplace.

Rachel L. Kennedy of Cortland, 43, stole lottery tickets, cigarettes and other merchandise totaling $15,174, according to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.

Detectives with the Trumbull County sheriff's office began investigating the thefts in the fall of 2025. Kennedy has agreed to pay restitution.
