LEETONIA, Ohio - The Columbiana County Sheriff's Office has canceled a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for an 83-year-old man who didn't return after driving away from a local store.

The alert was issued after James L. While was seen at 6 p.m. Tuesday, leaving a location on Apples Way Court in Leetonia. Authorities say he drove away and did not return, prompting concerns for his safety.

Deputies tell 21 News that While has been found and is safe.
