LIBERTY - Fans of all things LEGOs can make their way to Liberty Township next August for the city's first-ever LEGO convention.

The Youngstown Brick Convention will take place at the Metroplex Event Center on Motor Inn Drive in Girard on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16.

LEGO artists will be traveling from across the country to show off their LEGO creations, and LEGO celebrities will also be on site holding meet-and-greets with fans.

There will also be galleries will life-sized and extraordinary LEGO models on display, including a zone dedicated to Star Wars displays.

Guests will also have the opportunity to build their own creations in the Construction Zone with thousands of bricks available, as well as live builds to watch and engage with.

Collectors will have the opportunity to purchase LEGO merchandise, including new LEGO sets, as well as retired and hard-to-find ones.

Tickets will cost $14.99 plus taxes and fees per day, and are expected to sell out quickly. Children ages two and under are free. You can purchase tickets by clicking here.

Customers can purchase tickets for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. admission or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. admission.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will support Creations for Charity, an all-volunteer non-profit organization that buys new LEGO sets for underprivileged children during the holidays.
