WARREN - A warrant has been issued for a Trumbull County Clerk of Courts employees accused of theft in office after she failed to appear for her arraignment hearing on Tuesday, December 16.

Vanessa Clark was allegedly set to be released from a rehab facility on Monday, December 15, but her attorneys told the judge that she was still there as of Tuesday.

The judge said if this information could be confirmed, the warrant could be rescinded. Court records do not indicate that the warrant has been rescinded at this time, but records do show that Clark's arraignment date was continued to Tuesday, January 6.

Clark is currently facing several felony charges, including one count of theft in office and seven counts of tampering with records. An indictment alleges that these crimes occurred between May 1, 2025 and October 16, 2025. 

Clark has been placed on unpaid administrative leave as of Wednesday, December 10.
