TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - The trial continued Wednesday for Shane Genetta, the youth coach accused of sex crimes involving a minor.

Jurors sat through a long presentation of evidence from prosecution of the exact moments of the rape the victim is alleging.

Most jurors looked away when prosecutors presented the 35-minute video of one of the alleged rapes. In it, you can hear someone telling Genetta multiple times to stop. At one point, someone said "I don't want to do this," "You're forcing me,"  and "I don't consent to this."

Nine other pictures and videos were shown to the jury. A BCI agent testified that this evidence was found in Genetta's phone.

She said “They were in the trashes folder. I could tell when I looked at it. The Physical Analyzer gives you the actual location of where these are found, and they were found in a folder that was labeled dot trashes. They appear to have been deleted.”

A nurse from the child advocacy center also took the stand, saying she believes Genetta groomed the victim for years offering to buy her things in exchange for sex.

She also said Genetta made the victim feel too guilty to leave, saying Genetta “had told her that he would kill himself, so she didn't want that to happen.”

The jury also watched the entire one hour long interview between police and Genetta after his arrest. When asked about his relationship with the victim, Genetta said they were in love and they were going to be together once she turned 18.

Genetta also said the relationship had only been going on for one year, adding that he knows it's "not a pretty picture."

The police officer in the video said that everything that was described to him by Genetta inferred that the two of them were in a romantic relationship.

Genetta is facing 19 charges including rape and sexually oriented material involving a minor. His trial will continue Thursday.
