Report: Police find over 5K sexually-explicit photos, videos of children on Masury man's devices

MASURY, Ohio - A Masury man has been indicted on more than two dozen charges connected to alleged child sexual abuse material.
According to an indictment filed on Thursday, December 18, 66-year-old Vaughn Hanson is charged with 15 counts of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor or impaired person.
The indictment states that the Hanson's alleged crimes took place on December 21, 2020, September 2, 2023 and August 14, 2025.
The indictment alleges that Hanson possessed files that showed children of various ages engaging in sexual acts, including one that allegedly showed an adult male raping an infant.
According to a police report from the Brookfield Police Department, officers allegedly found approximately 5,000 photos and videos depicting child sexual abuse material across two laptops allegedly owned by Hanson.
Hanson was arraigned in Judge Ronald Rice's court Thursday morning. Court records do not yet show when Hanson is due back in court.
