The Ohio State University Extension Mahoning County has partnered with the Mahoning County Farm Bureau and the Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District to provide the 2026 AgriSeries.

The AgriSeries will feature a program focused on funding resources for farmers on January 22, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the OSU Extension Mahoning County Office, located at 490 South Broad Street in Canfield.

Jill Ritchie, County Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency, will be the featured speaker for the program.

Ritchie will discuss funding programs currently available to farmers that aim to support agricultural projects and farm operations.

There is a $5 cost to attend the program, and advance registration is encouraged, but not required.

Those interested can register by calling 330-456-4889. Credit cards are accepted.

The AgriSeries is aimed to be a collaborative educational series to provide practical and timely information for farmers, landowners and agricultural professionals in Mahoning County and the surrounding area.
