Court issues permanent restraining order on condemned East Liverpool home

EAST LIVERPOOL - A Columbiana County judge has issued a permanent restraining order on a condemned house in East Liverpool on Thursday, December 18.
The order was issued during a hearing on Thursday afternoon regarding a home on the 700 block of Sophia Street. According to court documents, the homeowner was notified of the hearing but did not appear.
According to court records, Judge Megan Bickerton agreed that the home is a nuisance and that there have been repeated instances of violence, disruptive conduct and drug activity on or around the property since 2022.

Judge Bickerton ordered that the home continue to be boarded up and padlocked for one year, and that all personal property and contents used in conducting or maintaining the nuisance be removed from the home.
These contents may be sold at a public auction.
