A Warren business hosted a giving tree program, which resulted in providing more than 300 children in need with gifts this holiday season.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Giving Tree Program, in partnership with several local businesses, placed "giving trees" throughout the Warren area, decorated with gift wish lists for children whose families pre-registered for assistance. 

The Valley Supper Club, a social gathering for men to enjoy food, company and conversation, donated $14,000 to this year's program, allowing the program to give more than 300 children "a variety of thoughtfully chosen gifts on Christmas morning," The Society of St. Vincent de Paul stated.

Gift distribution took place on Wednesday, Dec 17. 

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul works to serve Trumbull, Portage and Ashtabula counties through volunteers and donors serving those in need.
