According to a dispatcher with the Boardman Township Police Department, responders were sent out to the area of the Route 224 and Route 7 intersection around 3 p.m.

Police on scene confirmed that five vehicles are involved.

Dispatch says that at least one driver is in the hospital with injuries. The extent of injuries or who was involved is unknown at this time.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, traffic in the area returned to normal.
