Hopewell Theatre to hold auditions for 'Silent Sky'
Auditions will take place at the Hopewell Theatre (702 Mahoning Avenue) on Thursday, January 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday, January 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN - The Hopewell Theatre will hold auditions for the play "Silent Sky" in January 2026.
"Silent Sky" is the true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt. The play explores a woman's place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries.
Auditions will take place at the Hopewell Theatre (702 Mahoning Avenue) on Thursday, January 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday, January 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can sign up for auditions here.
Rehearsals will take place Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting in early February. The show itself will run on April 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and April 12 at 2 p.m.
