According to the Bazetta Township Road Department Road Superintendent, a parking ban has been extended for the township due to the ongoing weather affecting the area.

The ban began at 10 a.m. on December 29, 2025, and was set to end on December 30 at 4 p.m. However, Bazetta Township Road Superintendent Michael Arnal now tells 21 News the ban has been extended to Thursday, January 1 at noon.

The Bazetta Township Police Department Facebook page also shared the news, indicating that the parking ban allows the road department to safely treat roads without having vehicles blocking parts of the roadway.

According to a post made on the Bazetta Township Facebook page, violating the winter parking ban can result in a towing fee and a ticket.
