New members were sworn in to the Warren City Council during a ceremony on December 29, 2025, at 4 p.m.

In total, six people were either newly sworn in to join the ranks or are keeping their seats as incumbent members.

In the council-at-large seat, Michael O'Brien and Helen Rucker retain their seats on the council.

However, Greg Thumm, who was newly elected during the November 4 general election, was sworn in on Monday afternoon and will take the place of Gary Steinbeck.

First Ward Councilman Todd Johnson will retain his seat on the city council, along with Seventh Ward Councilman Ronald White Sr.

However, Fifth Ward Councilwoman Tiffany Stanford was defeated in the November 4 general election by Michael Schrodek.

Schrodek was also sworn in during Monday's ceremony.
