YOUNGSTOWN - Police and fire crews are on scene after a car and a WRTA bus collided on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Salt Springs Road and Hartzell Avenue. Both vehicles' front ends appear to have sustained damage.

The car's entire front bumper has fallen off, and the bus's driver's side headlight appears to be broken.

A spokesperson for the City of Youngstown tells 21 News the crash sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries. The spokesperson says salt trucks were called to the area to treat the icy road conditions.
