NILES - A Niles man has been indicted on more than a dozen child sex charges, including rape.

According to the indictment, 41-year-old Brian Christensen was indicted on five counts of rape and eight counts of gross sexual imposition, all with sexually violent predator specifications, as well as two more counts of attempted rape.

The indictment states that Christensen's alleged crimes occurred over the course of five years between April of 2020 and July of 2025, and involved multiple victims.

According to the indictment, two alleged victims were both between the ages of nine and 10 years old, and a third alleged victim was between the ages of nine and 13 years old.

Niles Municipal Court records show Christensen was originally charged in September of 2025, with the case being bound over to a grand jury in November. The indictment was filed on Tuesday, December 30.

Christensen is set to be arraigned on Tuesday, January 6.
